To bulk tag in Reveal, you must select the documents you wish to bulk tag, click the "Tag" button on the top left of the document list, select the tag you would like to bulk, and then confirm the bulk action.
Step 1: Build a search or choose a folder to select the documents you wish to bulk tag. The documents for bulk tagging are selected based on the documents currently populated in the document list. For example, to bulk tag all documents with the term "newsletter" as not responsive, you first need to create and run a text search for that term. In our example, the term "newsletter" hits on 383 documents.
Step 2: Push the "Tag" button on the top left of the document list to access the bulk tagging feature.
Step 3: Click the box next to "Tags" under "Properties to edit" in the pop-up box.
Step 4: Click the box next to the tag you wish to apply. In our example, click the box next to "Non-Responsive" to bulk tag all hits to "newsletter" as not responsive. The number of documents the bulk tag will be applied to is shown in parentheses to the right of "All document in results list". In our example, the number, 383, matches the hit count for the term "newsletter".
You can also bulk untag documents. To do so, select the "Untag" button instead of the "Tag" button in the left column.
Once you have made your tagging selections, hit the red "Tag" button in the lower right corner.
Step 5: Click the "Yes" button to apply the bulk tagging.
NOTE: This same process may be used to bulk edit other properties. These other properties include folders, fields, or notes.
